The Medical Student Society organised a White Coat Ceremony on 13 June to say good-bye to our second year students and wish them the best as they start their final 2 years at clinical placement sites in the US, Israel and Cyprus.  A tradition at medical schools around the world, this ceremony marks the transition of students into clinical practice by presenting them with a white coat, a traditional symbol of medicine.  Course Director Dr Adonis Ioannides gave an inspirational speech before clinical faculty proceeded to put the white coats on the students.  Well done to all the students who organised this ceremony and congratulations to everyone completing their second year of medical studies.
