St George’s, University of London has been named among the world’s top 200 universities in the most comprehensive and respected rankings of higher education institutions across the globe.

In the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2015-16, St George’s is polled 196th globally for the second year in a row. This positions the university fourth in London and joint 32nd in the UK.

Principal Professor Peter Kopelman said: “I celebrate St George’s continuing success in being ranked in the top 200 world universities. Staff and students are proud of the global standing of their university dedicated to health science research and education. The ranking confirms yet again the distinctiveness of St George’s, nationally and internationally, something to be cherished and promoted.”
