The Medical School and the New York Medical College (NYMC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to seek to expand scholarly ties, facilitate academic cooperation, increase educational opportunities, enrich the educational environment and promote international intercultural understanding.  Through this memorandum, both institutions agree to explore educational and scientific cooperation efforts between the Faculty of Medicine of NYMC and the Medical School and exchange students, on a space available, for medical training and/or studies, including elective clinical rotations and/or for research.

Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, based in Brooklyn, New York is a 530-bed voluntary non-profit treatment facility as well as an established teaching hospital.  It provides large-scale general and specialized inpatient and outpatient care, through more than 50 specialty clinics, for around 350,000 patients per year.

Since 2014, Brookdale has had an academic affiliation with the long-established New York Medical College. Founded in 1860, New York Medical College is one of the oldest medical schools in the US and delivers a comprehensive range of programmes in biomedical and healthcare sciences.
