Students and staff had an opportunity to participate in various events organised by the Student Affairs team during Fall 2016:

On Saturday, 3 September we arranged a day trip to Protaras and Cape Greko in Ayia Napa. Students and staff enjoyed the beach and the meze-style lunch at Alati-by the sea.

A day trip to Kourion Archaeological Site in Limassol was also organised in October. After exploring the ancient city we headed to the picturesque Limassol Marina for lunch by the beach.

On Thursday, 17 November, the Ambassador and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Sultanate of Oman visited the Medical School. They were pleased to see our facilities and to meet our Omani students.

PICTURE5November was a busy month with raising money for Movember and The Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PA.SY.KA.F). We were part of a food drive, a bake sale, a sweet jar competition and a blood drive donation amongst other things!

Many thanks go to everyone who participated and helped to raise the amount of 849 Euros. We look forward to your involvement in future events to contribute to more great causes!

A free yoga session also took place at the beginning of November. Our lovely colleague Annie Armosti, yoga instructor, helped students tone and relax!

Our team also collected toys from Medical School staff, which were donated to the Elpida Foundation For Children With Cancer.
