The 2019 league table showed that 93.6% of St George’s graduates go straight into employment or further study.

Principal Professor Jenny Higham said:

“At St George’s we pride ourselves on developing outstanding healthcare practitioners and scientists who are ready to start their careers as soon as they graduate. While studying with us, our students benefit from our dedicated focus on medicine, healthcare and science, and our strong links with their respective professions.

“It is fantastic to see our excellent graduate prospects highlighted in the Complete University Guide. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and the brilliant students who study with us.”

Out of 113 universities listed in the main league table, St George’s ranks 52nd – a rise of one place from last year.

The Complete University Guide 2019 rankings are based on 10 measures, including research, student satisfaction, and graduate prospects.

St George’s also ranks best for graduate job prospects in the UK in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.
