Every year medical students visit high schools where they deliver presentations on health issues that concern teenagers. Topics include sexual health, contraception, smoking/vaping, healthy eating and exercise. The medical students deliver simple and factual audio-visual presentations, including games and other engaging activities, based on scientific and medical evidence. The medical students are always accompanied by faculty and staff during their presentations.
This year the student presentations have reached over 530 teenagers during four visits to the English School and the Falcon School in the Nicosia region.
