The Mobile Clinic Club’s expedition to Anayia village in the Nicosia district on 6 October was a great success.  Fifteen mobile clinic club student members participated in this first expedition of the new academic year. Community Council President Dr Constantinos Stylianides, who served as the clinical supervisor for the expedition, alongside the village community, warmly welcomed the students. The student volunteers set-up three stations in the small multipurpose clinic in Anayia village and performed blood pressure, spirometry, and blood glucose tests on about 50 patients. Some individuals were referred to further medical examinations, as appropriate. The interaction between the student volunteers and the Anayia residents was positive, and more visits to the village are expected in the future.
