Associate Professor Constantina Constantinou has been appointed to the new post of Director of Research at the Medical School with effect 1 March 2019. The post of the Director of Research is a senior academic appointment held by a member of the Teaching Research Faculty (TRF).
Dr Constantinou’s role includes the development and implementation of the Medical School’s strategic research priorities and initiatives. Dr Constantinou will build research partnerships within and beyond the University of Nicosia, supporting faculty by promoting a culture of research excellence and cross-disciplinary research collaboration, while ensuring that research output supports the University of Nicosia in its international university rankings.
In parallel to the post of Director of Research Dr Constantina Constantinou is the new Medical School PhD Programme Director.
