Sunday, 28 November 2021 marked the restart of the Mobile Clinic expeditions following almost two years of inactivity due to COVID-19. The first expedition took place at Yeri Municipality in the outskirts of Nicosia. Fourteen student volunteers performed blood pressure measurements and glucose tests to the local population under the guidance of Clinical Assistant Professor Dionysios Vaidakis.
Mayor of Yeri Mr Neophytos Papalazarou gets his blood pressure measured. During the expedition all COVID safety measures were in place including SafePass possession checks via the CovScan Cyprus application.
