Are you interested in learning more about yoga?  Yoga can help you add strength, flexibility, balance, and physical activity to your life.  It can also help you with sleep and managing stress to boost your physical and mental wellbeing.  Yoga can benefit people of all ages and fitness levels, from children to adults to seniors.

In December of 2014, the United Nations proclaimed 21stJune as the International Day of Yoga .  Since then, this day has been celebrated annually throughout the globe.

The High Commission of India, Nicosia has been observing the International Day of Yoga every year since 2015 in Cyprus.  In celebration during the week leading up to the 6th International Day of Yoga, the High Commission of India, Nicosia along with the University of Nicosia Medical School would like to invite all University of Nicosia students, staff, faculty, patients, and all community members to join a free virtual yoga session on Friday, 19th June, 2020 at 16:00.  The 45-minute yoga session will be led by Mr. Gaurav Vohra,“Yoga Guru and Teacher of Indian Culture” of the High Commission of India, Nicosia, and will be hosted virtually via Webex.
