Panos Economou is a Clinical Professor of Surgery and Chair of the Division of Surgery at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
Prof Economou graduated with an MB ChB (Honours) from the University of Manchester Medical School and went on to specialize in surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Ed), a Member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers (MFSTEd), a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Eng) and a Member of the Court of Examiners.
His research interests include surgical education, medical computing, computer programming and engineering.
