Brian Downer is an Academic Associate at the University of Nicosia Medical School and Assistant Professor in the Division of Rehabilitation Science, School of Health Professions at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Dr Downer received his PhD in gerontology from the University of Kentucky, College of Public Health.
His research interests include the epidemiology of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, Hispanic aging and health, and quality and outcomes of post-acute care for older adults.
