Charalambos Charalambous is a Clinical Associate at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
Dr Charalambous obtained his medical degree from the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel, Germany before returning to Cyprus and commencing his postgraduate clinical training at the Nicosia General Hospital. He worked for 11 years at Nicosia General Hospital as a General Surgeon and he was the director of the first breast center in Cyprus. Now working at the American Medical Center, he specializes in general surgery and breast surgery. He is a member of the Cyprus Surgical Society Board for the last 10 years and full member of the European breast centers.
He is actively involved in research and is collaborating with the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics on 2 projects researching surgical oncology. He regularly presents at conferences on surgery in Greece and Cyprus.
