George Kanellopoulos is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
Dr Kanellopoulos holds a Medical Diploma from the University of Athens, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Aberdeen (UK) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Oslo, Norway.
His clinical interests include cardiac valve surgery, myocardial revascularization with arterial grafts, aortic surgery and lung surgery. His research interests include neoagiogenesis, neuronal cell death and spinal cord ischemic injury.
