Stelios Angeli is a Academic Associate at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
Dr Angeli graduated the Physics Department of the University of Athens in 2009. In 2010 he received his master’s degree in Medical Physics and Bioengineering from the Imperial College London while in 2017 he received his Doctorate on the Mechanics of the Brain in Pathological Conditions from the University of Cyprus.
Since 2009, Dr Angeli is employed as a Medical Physicist at Prognosis Diagnostic Center while maintaining research and teaching collaborations with the University of Cyprus and the University of Nicosia.
His research interests include finite element modeling and simulations of brain and tumor biomechanics, biomedical imaging and analysis and Magnetic Resonance Imaging as well as modeling of the human upper tracheobronchial tree.
