Blood Donation and Charity Event
On 26 March, a blood donation event was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. In parallel to the event the Student Services team sold traditional Cypriot products with all proceeds going towards the support of a clinic in Burundi. A special thank-you to everybody who contributed to these great causes.
Basketball tournament
On 9 March, a basketball tournament took place at Ayios Dometios Sports Centre in collaboration with Scalpels Basketball Club. During the tournament week raffle tickets were available for sale at the Student Service Centre and through the Club. The proceeds from both the tournament registration fee and the raffle tickets were added to the fund for the support of a clinic in Burundi. Raffle winners received vouchers for Jamie’s Italian, K-Cineplex and Coffee Island.
Kundalini Yoga and Tavern Trip
In order to help students relax before their final exam period two events were organised: on 27 March a free yoga session at Kundalini Yoga Centre, and on 5 April a trip to Lithoktisto tavern in Lympia where students and staff enjoyed Cypriot meze and danced to traditional music.

Alumni and Graduation memorabilia
We would like to congratulate all of our graduates on their outstanding achievements and to wish them the best of luck in their future careers. We hope that you liked the memorabilia offered as a gift from the Medical School.
Donations
Clothing, food, bed linen, kitchen ware and toys collected during Spring 2019will soon be donated to families in need.
