On 18 November, on the occasion of the national anniversary of the Sultanate of Oman, Omani students of the University of Nicosia Medical School, attended the reception given by the Ambassador of Oman to Cyprus, Sheikan Ahmed Shikh Ahmed. The students were accompanied by the Executive Dean of the Medical School, Professor Andreas Charalambous, and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Adonis Ioannides.
The Ministry of Higher Education of the Sultanate of Oman has included the University of Nicosia Medical School in its scholarship programme. Every year ten scholars are selected through the School’s evaluation process for admission to the six-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme.
