The University of Nicosia Medical School is participating in the project ‘Curriculum Development using VR technology to enhance empathetic communication skills in future health care professionals’ (EmpathyInHealth) which is funded by the Erasmus+ programme (KA203 Strategic Partnerships for higher education). The main aim of EmpathyInHealth is to create  a curriculum for empathetic skills development in healthcare practitioners and home carers based on up to date evidence and cutting edge technology tools.

On Tuesday, July 19, 2022 the team held their final meeting in Athens, Greece. During the meeting the participants discussed the main results of the project as well as the way forward for the completion of all remaining activities until the project’s completion at the end of August 2022. The final meeting was followed by the second learning activity which took place during July 20-22, 2022.  During the second learning activity, our partner Omega Technologies trained all the participants on the use of the Authoring Tool for the creation of new VR scenarios. We are very excited about the project’s results and we are looking forwarding to entering the final phase of the project’s life cycle!
