Getting involved with the Alumni network is a great way to offer back to the Medical School. Through online specialty sessions and mentoring, you can provide students with ongoing professional guidance on starting their perspective careers, and discuss with them future pathways to practise.

In previous years, you had to travel to the Medical School in order to connect with our students. Today, your interaction is easier and faster than ever before. Virtual offerings have expanded our resources. Presentations have moved online. Distances have zeroed.

Our Alumni global network of doctors, researchers and specialists is continuously expanding. Why don’t you join in?

Here are five ways to get involved:

  1. Careers Lecture Series, where you will advise current students remotely, in a spectrum of topics, from interview preparation to specialty training, and more.
  2. Research Lecture Series, where you will present research remotely to new Alumni.
  3. Alumna/us Testimonial, where you will share your successes and provide testimonials for recruitment and marketing.
  4. Advise current students ad hoc, based on specialty training.
  5. Admissions events participation as an Alumna/us Ambassador.

Careers & Alumni Manager, Sue Chrysostomou stressed that, “The medical profession has changed so rapidly in the last years due to the pandemic, so our alumni engagement is truly beneficial for our future graduates. The support is mutual as our graduates continue to submit applications to postgraduate medical education training programmes, and we often facilitate these career achievements. We all take pride in our international alumni achievements and successes in the medical and research fields.”
