UNIC Health, supporting the strategic growth of its Medical School and School of Veterinary Medicine, seeks a full-time Physician responsible for Student Health (SH) Services based in Nicosia to join its Team.

Requirements:

  •  Medical degree. Specialisation in Primary Care or Occupational Health considered an advantage.
  • Experience working as an Occupational Health doctor in an educational or commercial setting considered an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Greek, both verbal and written.

 Main Responsibilities:

  •  Develop, update, and communicate SH processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations and the agreements with clinical training providers.
  • Provide guidance to management on matters regarding student support and wellbeing, and contribute to the development of relevant strategies.
  • Conduct Admissions/Pre-enrolment SH health assessment and clearance for incoming students.
  • Advise on legislation related to occupational health and safety, particularly concerning medical and veterinary students.
  • Maintain up-to-date SH records of all medical and veterinary students, and provide feedback to the School in the form of reports, where appropriate.
  • Oversee individual student cases, in coordination with the treating clinicians, to ensure that students are appropriately supported and fit to study and practise medicine/ veterinary medicine.
  • Participate in UNIC Health Committees and meetings, as required
