The Mobile Clinic of the University of Nicosia (UNIC) will visit Xylotymbou Village in the District of Larnaka on Sunday, 3 March 2024, between 10:00 and 12:30, to offer ECG tests to the local population. The activity will be supervised by Dr Panayiotis Avraamides, Clinical Professor of Cardiology at UNIC and Consultant Cardiologist at UNIC Medical Centre Nicosia and Ormideia, and Dr Sotiris Dimosthenous, Clinical Assistant Professor at UNIC and General Practitioner at UNIC Medical Centre in Ormideia
The aim of the expedition is to facilitate the early detection of heart diseases and to raise awareness about heart health issues in the community.
