John Minas Hadjiminas is a Clinical Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Nicosia Medical School with a special interest in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition.
Dr Hadjiminas received his Medical Degree [MD] from the University of Athens and subsequently received a Diploma in Child Health [DCH RCPL] from the Royal College of Physicians of London. He is a founder Member [MRCPCH] and Fellow FRCPCH[UK] of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and was a member of the Council of the Cyprus Paediatric Society for seven years. He is currently an independent contractor with the General Healthcare System and member of the board of the Paraskevaides Foundation. As Personal Advisor to the Minister of Health, he played a significant role in the implementation of the General Healthcare System.
His research interests include coeliac disease, gastroenteritis, GI infections in thalassaemia and mast cell disorder.
