On 31 October 2018 the Medical School hosted another Membership examination for the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS Eng). Ten candidates from countries including the UK, Greece, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq participated in the examination. This was the sixth Intercollegiate MRCS (IMRCS) examination hosted in Cyprus by the Medical School. The educational infrastructure of the Medical School in addition to its superb laboratory facilities are among the decisive factors for the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS Eng) to use Cyprus as one of its international examination centres. The Medical School’s status as an IMRCS international testing centre brings global recognition not only to the University of Nicosia but also to Cyprus.
