May 2021

Alumni engagement with current students is increasing with an expanded global network of doctors, researchers and specialists. The Careers & Alumni team have always provided students with plenary sessions to provide additional guidance and first-hand advice, for students’ future pathways to practise. This academic year has provided an excellent opportunity to extend these sessions virtually allowing for greater participation from all corners of the globe as our alumni doctors’ placement and specialty expertise continues to grow.

Careers & Alumni Manager, Sue Chrysostomou said, “Continuing to support our graduates as well as our students in securing postgraduate training is paramount, as many of our graduates continue to apply for postgraduate medical education training programmes to pursue and attain their career aspirations. The more we support our alumni, the more they have to offer our students through their achievements and successes in the medical and research fields.”
