In response to the high demand, particularly in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs), the paperback version of the esteemed “Oxford Textbook of Obstetrics and Gynaecology’ has been released earlier this year.  The hardcover version was first introduced  in 2020, under the stewardship of Professor Sabaratnam Arulkumaran, Foundation Chair of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Nicosia Medical School. The paperback version maintains all of the rigorously referenced and high-quality content from the original hardcover first edition, offering the same vital resource to practicing clinicians in a more accessible format.

Professor Sir Sabaratnam Arulkumaran, in his capacity as the Principal Editor, expressed his views on the paperback release: “I am pleased to see our textbook reaching more hands in its new paperback form. Our intent has always been to promote evidence-based practice and improve clinical outcomes globally. I am thrilled that we are now able to make this essential resource more accessible to clinicians worldwide.”

The Oxford Textbook of Obstetrics and Gynaecology stands as a premier source for the entire O&G specialty, covering areas such as fetomaternal medicine, gynaecological oncology, urogynaecology, and reproductive medicine. It offers an evidence-based perspective on current diagnostic and therapeutic methods, enriched with numerous treatment algorithms for effective clinical practice.
